The Executive Program in Health Systems was a wonderful start to my career. I came out of undergrad knowing I wanted to work in healthcare, but unsure what I wanted to do. I was suggested this program because I enjoy problem-solving and math and decided to join after researching it and seeing great reviews. Looking back, it was a fantastic decision. This program has outfitted me with an incredible foundation. Aside from the technical skills, it helped improve my critical thinking, my discipline and time management, and has allowed me to meet many great people in the industry. Lastly, it’s been an invaluable resource in my career progression and I am forever thankful for being a part of it.

The faculty and staff for the Executive Program in Health Systems - Manhattan were extraordinarily supportive, and they genuinely care about the wellbeing and success of their students. It truly felt like a family environment. The faculty's enthusiasm was infectious, and their passion for the program and for their own professional work was commendable. My experience with the program left me with an extremely positive impression that has stuck with me ever since. I constantly recommend the program and always speak of it with great fondness. It certainly helped me get to where I am today, which is more than halfway done with dental school at the University of Pennsylvania.

The Executive Program in Health Systems - Manhattan was one of the best decisions I could have made for my career. Having received my bachelor's degree from Binghamton University in English literature and rhetoric, it was important for me to be able to stay competitive in the field with current work experience while also being able to keep up with the learning curve of engineering and systems principles that I had never encountered before. The year-long program allowed me to continue to work full-time within the healthcare industry in New York City while also completing my master's degree and earning a Lean Six Sigma certification. The faculty and School of SSIE were extremely knowledgeable, flexible and accommodating to my academic needs and professional schedule. All companies where I interviewed were very impressed with the unique degree, and within a few months of graduation I was able to attain a considerable promotion. I definitely recommend this program to anyone interested in enhancing their career in healthcare quality and performance improvement.
